10 months old and late!!

Sorry it's taken a while to post a new blog but we have been very busy and living quarters are a bit different. Rhealyn had another check up at 10 months to double check her ears to make sure they are better...and they are!!! She also got 3 shots and took them very well!! Such a tough little girl!

We are in Plano right now with Nonna and Papaw and so excited for Christmas. The tree is up and decorated and there are a lot of presents under the tree!! Daddy is here with us and we are so happy to spend time with him. We miss him so much and can't wait for him to be closer to us!!

We wish every body a very warm Merry Christmas! We'll have more pics up after Rhealyn's first Christmas!!!

Break time

So it's been a while and I need to get everyone updated!! Not much updating really besides the fact that Rhealyn gets bigger right before my very eyes. We are currently at my parents house because this semester is over!! Yay!! One semester closer to graduating!!

Thanksgiving was great and very yummy! It was in Houston with Jeremy's family and boy did we have a full house. We also ventured to Hill Top where we rode around on the 4-wheeler with Rhealyn strapped to me in her pack. I hope your Thanksgiving was very warm and joyous!

Rhealyn and I are flying to New Orleans in a week so spend time with Daddy. We sure do miss him and can't wait until we are living with him in our own house. I know it will happen some day. Hopefully in a year!! I'll be doing my student teaching then and leaving Rhealyn at home with my dad, Papaw, so we don't have to put her in day care.

9 months cuter!

I can't believe Rhealyn has been in our arms for 9 months!! She is growing so fast! Crawling around everywhere and standing up all the time. She is cruising as well, but no steps on her own yet. I'm sure it will get here fast! Rhealyn is working on her 6th tooth. She doesn't have a toothless grin anymore!

We took a trip to New Orleans last weekend to visit Daddy and for her 9 month check-up. Rhealyn weighs 19 pounds 11 ounces and is 28 inches long. But she also has an ear infection. Poor girl! But she did so well on the plane. Not a peep! Rhealyn is such a good baby, thank you Lord!! We are so blessed by You!!

Seeing Dad was great! We sure do miss him and wish he was closer to us. We are crossing our fingers that he will be back by Christmas. What a gift that would be!!

Great Grandma Ruth was in town from Salt Lake City so we got to see her and the rest of the family. Great Grandma Mimi was there also. It was such a beautiful day in College Station that we bought lunch and took it to the park. Rhealyn loved playing on the blanket with everyone.

This semester is coming to an end and quickly. Only 2 more weeks left!! I have changed my degree plan to Motor Behavior and have decided to be a science teacher and coach track. I think I will have more fun with that and I will be able to have summers and holidays off with our kids.

Weekend with Daddy!!

Hi Everybody!! We sure do love getting comments from you so keep them coming!! Thanks Nonna, PaPaw, Jaime, Jared, Lois, Betty, Brian & Stacy, Monique, Candace, and anyone else I forgot to mention who has left such sweet comments =)

We are doing great in College Station but we sure do miss Daddy!! We got to see him last weekend but it flew by so fast. It doesn't even seem like we actually saw him. It was 3 weeks ago last time we saw him and it will be another 3 weeks before we see him again. I know we'll actually live together one day, in our own house =)
We also saw Grandma & Grandpa in Conroe and then drove to Bay City to visit Marlene & Glenn. It was the first time for Marlene and Glenn to see Rhealyn. They loved watching her crawl around, exploring, and getting into video tapes!

8 Months and on the move!!

Rhealyn is 8 months old and crawling all over the place! She is also pulling herself up to standing on the toy bin, the couch, my bed, my leg...
She is also cutting her 2nd tooth on the bottom. Drool, drool, everywhere!
Rhealyn is really starting to be more talkative and express her feelings. Lots of "babas" and excited noises! Next month we get to go to New Orleans for a ped. appointment for her 9 month checkup. I can't believe how fast she is growing!

7 months in Aggieland

Well, we made it to the 7 month mark and she is just cute as a button! Rhealyn is starting to scoot around and get up on her knees but still no crawling yet. I know it will come soon enough. Daddy has a new trick to show off and he sure does love to show it off! And we really really miss him!!

Rhealyn and I are currently in College Station letting mommy get closer to getting her diploma. It's a little harder to study now but I also have a great and wonderful distraction. Being away from Dad is hard on both of us, but we get to see him almost every weekend. We love you sooooooo much!!!

We get up early in the mornings to go walk with our roommates Monica and Nicollette. Mommies need their exercise too!! More to come with the new college life!

6 month check up

The Doctor visit went well! She had 2 more shots but only cried for about 5 seconds. Such a strong little girl!! Rhealyn weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces and is 26 inches long. 50th percentile for both! A beautiful, perfect and healthy little girl. Makes me want to protect her from everything that is harmful, but as everyone knows that will be impossible to do. But I can try my hardest! We had family pictures taken and they turned out great. I'll post them when I get them. Rhealyn is constantly making noises and getting louder. She is really working those lungs out!! Sitting up is getting much better!! Still falls over every now and then. Not crawling and still no teeth. I'm sure both will happen soon.
