Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween, although we missed Daddy! Rhealyn was a tulip fairy and oh so cute!! We went over to Carrie's house and Rhealyn followed her two little girls around house to house.

Rhealyn is picking up on more words everyday. She is also getting faster, I have to semi jog to keep up with her!

The Beach and The Zoo

Rhealyn's first experience in sand and salt water was such a site! She wasn't quite sure what to think when the water moved toward her. Diggin' in the sand and eating it was also a treat for her and us. Jaime and Kyle went with us and they had a blast as well. Jeremy and Kyle played football most of time while Jaime and I chased Rhealyn. We met some friends down there, Sara and JT, so Rhealyn could play with Caitlyn and Katy. The stay was cut short because it started pouring down on us. We definitely want to go back down there before it gets cooler.


The animals were great on this zoo trip. Rhealyn and I went to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans on Thursday and we had a wonderful time. She got to see an Albino alligator and White Bengal Tigers (my favorite). I think the animals were wanting people to watch them because it seemed like they were putting on a show for us. A leopard even moved closer to us and sat down right next to the glass in front of us to pose for a picture. It was the perfect day to go because it was partly cloudy and there only a few people there. Rhealyn will like it better in about a year or two when she better understands that these animals are rare.

We are having so much fun this summer!! We took Rhealyn out on the boat 2 times now and we get to do it again in about 3 weeks. We even got her on the jet ski with me! She wanted on and she enjoyed the ride. She has a little pool in the back yard that we play in to cool us down. We can't wait to go back to the lake...we miss you Nonna, Papa, Jaime and Jared!! Love you bunches!



Rhealyn weighs 27 pounds and is nearly 33 inches tall. She sure is growing...way too fast for me =) She has picked up a few words like "dog", "bye", "ma", "da", and "no". Some are noticeable and some not so much..."dog" sounds more like "dough".



Labor Day weekend we might go to the beach so we'll have some cute pictures to post up later. I hope everyone is doing great and we love you all!!!

River Trip 2007

Another adventurous river trip with our friends to the Guadalupe...no, wait!! we had to go to a different river. The Guadalupe was closed, and because we all love driving so much, we decided to go to the Medina which is an hour away from where we were staying. It was a beautiful river and we were almost the only ones on it.


There were some fun rapids to go down, or get out of your tube and walk around. We all had so much fun...some had a little too much fun (not naming any names) and we all survived!! Everyone pretty much decided that the Medina is the river to float down. We will more than likely go there for next year's river float.

Happy Summer to everyone!! We are very excited to get her in the water and teach her to swim. Rhealyn is growing up so fast it's amazing! She is so smart and figures things out on her own very well. She pretends to read books, talk on the phone very dramatically, and even puckers up for a kiss.

We are loving our new house in Spring, Texas...of course, this humidity is a different story!! But, we finally have a place of our own where we can keep all of our stuff and not have to bunk else where.

Jeremy is glad to be back at the office, but he also likes his out of town jobs to get him out of the office once in a while. He is very happy to get to see Rhealyn and I everyday and we are so happy to get to see him! We finally feel like a family!!

I am taking 3 online courses this summer and I will be teaching aerobics again at L.A. Fitness in Spring. I'm very excited to be teaching again...I miss it. Rhealyn also loves to workout with me when I'm doing my crunches, squats, and lifting weights (she has her own 3 pound weights).

Rhealyn still doesn't say words but she's getting closer to Momma and Dadda. She loves to jibber-jabber all the time...as long as she knows what she is talking about. I taught her sign language so she can tell me when she is hungry without the screaming. She also knows "please", "thank you", "more", "milk", "finished", "cow", and "bird". Rhealyn knows where her eyes, nose, mouth and ears are. She already has molars so I'm making sure she brushes every morning and every night and she loves it!!! Such a wonderful baby!!
