Trip to Lake Charles!

We made our way to Lake Charles this past weekend to visit dear friends of ours! Monica, David and Nicollette invited us to join them and they drove in from Dallas, how could we pass up the chance?! The girls are so adorable together. We are so excited to see them grow up together and become the best of friends...of course we aren't going to force anything =) Nicollette and Rhealyn will soon realize just how special our families are to each other! Saturday night we went to Harris' Cajun restaurant where they had a live Cajun band. We had so much fun we decided to make it a yearly thing! We ended up staying there for 4 hours dancing the night away!!

4 MONTHS AND GROWING!!

I can't believe she is 4 months old today!! It doesn't seem like we have had her for that long. The doctor says she is a perfect baby. She now weighs 13 lbs. 13 oz. and is 24 3/4 inches long...she is going to be tall! We are also going to try rice cereal this weekend. We'll let you know how that goes...on both ends!

Rhealyn has mastered the art of rolling from her belly to her back...YAY!! She is really letting us know that she wants to be heard and likes to make spit bubbles. She really loves her new bouncer from Brian and Stacy. Thank you so much. She is reaching out for those toys attached to it and getting better everyday. Now we are wondering when she is going to be crawling!!

16 weeks

Rhealyn is 16 weeks old and how the time has flown!! Rhealyn and I made our way through Monroe to visit Monique and Jeff on our way to Plano to see Nonna and Papaw. We had a wonderful time visiting with Aunt Jaime before she left for Italy on her study abroad. Uncle Jared was fun to hang out with and play pool. Grammy loved the time spent with us...she didn't want to let us go. We also stayed two nights with our friends Monica and Nicollette. Lindsay came to visit as well. It was fun being with the old gang again. We ventured into the pool and the girls loved it!! Now we are ready for swimming lessons =)

We also went to the lake after a friends wedding and stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. The lake trip was fun and Rhealyn's first experience at the lake and in a boat. We can't wait to go back for more!!
